CheapAugust 23, 2010 Heather We bought several of these tube to float down the river and they are just not durable. The material is thin and tears easily and at least one the inner liner had a hole on the seam so it would not hold air. Not very quality construction and only good for one time use if that.

These pool lounge chairs are made with the worse quality I have ever seen. I purchased my first set of them almost 4 years ago at a K-Mart store, and had them for 4 years, but after left out in the sun and weather each season the outer nylon became frail, and fell apart, which is totally understandable. So came the time I needed a new set for this season I bought 2 more of the very same identical chairs made by the same company. This time I believe they are now perhaps made by a different company for the distributor. The quality is unmistakably much poorer. One of the chairs would not blow up only to find the inner bag had a huge hole along the seam. Upon looking at the inner air bag it was much cheaper in design, and thickness. The sewing of the outer cover is much poorer too, seams tore apart during the first usage. So if anyone is buying these as I did for the second time, be aware they are far from the same quality of a few years back. Anyone looking to first time buy these look elsewhere they are flimsy, and will not provide any quality even out of the box.........Tom
Wouldn't recommendJuly 29, 2010 Char I agree with the previous review. I wish it would have been there before I made my purchase. My first chair lasted 3 years but too, from sun, it wore out. I was so excited to find this on Amazon and ordered it right away. First day, air wouldn't hold and chair doesn't really fit the bladder, after 1st use the foot rest pulled from the chair - OK sewed it up by hand,2nd day - again had to put in more air - 3rd day material tore away from seams. After inspecting the item in more depth, looks like all the seams are not sewn together very well and am sure that with more use, the remainder of the seams will begin to fall apart. So, what a waste of money! I will now have to look for a better made product and probably spend more money. Maybe the item they showed originally lasted better but my chair was Yellow and Blue - not the "orange and blue" as shown and detailed in the picture. I definitely would not recommend purchasing this item.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEYJuly 29, 2010 sxm1993 I got my chairs 4 years ago, and enjoyed them for 4 years. The only reason I had to throw them out is they started to become mildew from sitting out in the elements, the structure of the chair was fine. When it came time for my summer vacation I was under the impression I was ordering the same chairs but that couldn't be further from the truth. One chair couldn't be used because the foot insert had a gaping hole in it (the chair didn't come with a patch kit). The 2nd chair only lasted several hours because the nylon outer cover started to pull apart. By day 4 they chair was in pieces
Waste of moneyAugust 4, 2010 Annie I wish other reviews had been available when I ordered these. I, too, got a set a 2. I'd had a similar one a few years ago and this looked like a close match. Plus the price was good. Well, I got what I paid for. The general impression is "cheap, cheap, cheap." We only blew up one. It was misshapen. It began to lose air immediately, before anyone even sat in it. The seat isn't mesh, it's stamped plastic, a few days in the sun and my guess is it would be dried up and gone. The leg rest is just barely stitched on. They will be on their way back to Amazon tomorrow. Don't waste your money, unless you want to be disappointed.
