Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Catch it if you can! Crazy Chase is a high-tech interactive dive game that keeps swimmers guessing where it will go. Players just drop it in the water, watch it sink to the bottom and race to catch it. Randomized crazy action enhances the challenge! Requires 2 AA batteries, not included.

the ball takes in water then rusts and then doesn't really want to work. When you first get it what fun it is!!

We took the ball out of the packaging, put in batteries, and my daughter dropped the ball on the floor. It broke, such that you could not turn it to 'on' so we exchanged for a new ball. Got the new ball, put in batteries, screwed the ball shut tight, took it to the pool. Had a day of fun with it! Then we realized that water had gotten into the inside of the ball, despite the fact that we made sure to screw it closed at tightly as possible and put on the black rubber ring around it. We opened it, dried out the inside and replaced the batteries. Screwed the ball shut, turned it on - dead. Will not work anymore!

Great idea, terrible design. Its absolutely bizarre that the battery compartment is not completely watertight. I don't understand how you can design a ball for use in the pool which is not waterproof.
